New: one-shot snapshot plan for makers

Between February 25, 2026 and March 11, 2026, a series of enhancements were implemented focusing on user activation, system reliability, and user retention.

The snapshot provides a one-time AI visibility check without the need for a subscription.
The goal is to provide a quick initial assessment before committing to full monitoring.

Maker one-shot report
You can now access a dedicated Lucid report designed for independent creators and micro-SaaS businesses. The process is quicker, simpler to understand, and designed to guide users toward ongoing monitoring.

Smoother maker checkout
The checkout experience for makers has been improved with cleaner redirects, fewer errors, improved guest handling, and more robust recovery when a run doesn't start correctly the first time.

Clearer upgrade experience
A more streamlined upgrade process for maker users has been introduced, with enhanced previews, clearer locked sections, and a more structured progression from single reports to recurring monitoring.

Truth Layer persistence
Truth Layer insights are now better preserved across the product, making the analysis feel more integrated and less temporary over time.

Linear closed loop
Lucid now connects action planning more closely with execution. Actions sent to Linear can be measured against weekly runs once the work has been implemented.

More reliable live measurement
Live run feedback has been improved across the app, including progress indicators, engine-level progress displays, and automatic refresh of derived cards upon completion.

Pause subscription flow
Users can now pause their subscription rather than immediately canceling, offering a better retention option for teams needing a temporary break.

Expanded GEO research pipeline
Google Scholar is now integrated into the GEO research pipeline, broadening the source base Lucid can utilize for research.

Stronger maker follow-up
Improved upsell and follow-up logic has been implemented for maker users, including onboarding preview enhancements and a more structured post-purchase sequence.
