BLUF's main function is divided into three features: 'Ask', 'Summarize', and 'Explain'. The 'Ask' feature lets users identify the exact information they need by having the AI do the search.

The 'Summarize' feature helps users better understand a webpage by rapidly providing key highlights. The 'Explain' feature helps users by translating complex language and information into easier-to-understand formats.

Additionally, BLUF includes an optimization system to ensure high productivity when users use the dedicated 'Summarize' and 'Explain' buttons, which are designed for large content pages.

The 'prompt' feature in BLUF is the user's input, either as text or through the 'Summarize' and 'Explain' functions. No matter the outcome of the prompts, the platform counts each interaction as a single prompt to simplify engagement. Currently, BLUF works with Chrome and Firefox and plans to support other browsers. For efficiency, it limits the number of words it can process per page or document.

It's important to note that this AI tool values user privacy by keeping prompt and answer content for only 30 days and only collecting usage data. However, BLUF sends the prompt content to OpenAI to complete user requests.
