The application uses either an image or video, enabling users to choose a tone for generating custom captions. Tone options include funny, inspirational, poetic, and casual.
Capit leverages OpenAI's GPT4V to analyze and understand images and videos, producing relevant text instantly. The tool allows users to save profiles, providing quick and easy access to preferred settings for multiple social accounts.
Users are also able to customize the captions by introducing spacing, times, or extra hashtags using the app's integrated copy editor. Upcoming updates are slated to include enhanced hashtag creation, direct in-app caption editing, and the ability to save favorite captions.
Plans are in place for share sheet integration and expansion to Android and web platforms.
