ChatShape has partnered with OpenAI to provide AI-driven chatbots that are trained using user-provided data. By opening the extension on a webpage, users can select 'add current site' followed by 'generate bot' to create a shareable link for their unique chatbot.

The tool securely stores only the text content in an encrypted format on AWS servers, and does not retain the webpage itself. The ChatShape Chrome extension is compatible with most web pages, including private wikis such as Confluence, Notion, Jira, and Quip.

Users have the ability to share the chatbot links they create with others. The 'add current site' feature captures all visible, copyable text from the current webpage, without crawling other links on the page or the broader domain.

The maximum number of web sources in ChatShape depends on the user's subscription plan. The size of a web source is determined by the text character count of each page.
