Conversely, =CLAUDEFREE() allows you to send open-ended prompts to Claude's API, effectively acting as a direct API call. The tool can extract specific information from text, perform translations, rewrite text in different styles, summarize content, classify data, and more.
It also supports the removal of personal information and can simulate roles like a career advisor, among other uses.
To protect data privacy, information shared with =CLAUDE functions is shared only with Anthropic, as detailed in their Privacy Policy. If you share a Claude for Sheets spreadsheet with other users in your Google Workspace organization, they can use the custom functions without installing the add-on separately.
