The core function involves scanning a user's cover letter, either through direct upload or pasting as plain text. It utilizes a specialized BERT model to analyze the content, identifying characteristics that differentiate human-written text from AI-generated text.

The system provides high accuracy, having been trained using a large dataset of cover letters. Users quickly receive detailed feedback indicating if their cover letter seems AI-generated, human-written, or a combination of both.

Additionally, the tool suggests ways to refine the letter. Users can use this advice to modify their documents, making them more authentic and appealing to recruiters.

CoverSentry also includes a cover letter generation feature, creating personalized and human-sounding letters to improve the user's chances of clearing AI detection.

Although currently focused on English, the tool is expanding to include additional languages. To protect user privacy, data is processed in real time on secure servers and immediately deleted after use, ensuring data security.
