Desktop Docs

Desktop Docs is a unified platform created to offer a central place to organize, modify, and share multimedia files. It uses AI, allowing users to find their media by searching the actual content within images and videos, which reduces the manual steps usually required to find certain media.

One notable feature is the built-in studio, which allows for the quick editing and resizing of media. The platform also has the capability to directly export media to Adobe Premiere, thus simplifying the workflow for those in professional video production.

The search capabilities of the platform are supported by machine learning algorithms. After users index their files using Desktop Docs, the app can interpret and sort files based on what is inside of them.

This extends to video, as the software can interpret and index the visual content of videos. Privacy and data management are key to Desktop Docs policies.

The software doesn't gather any user personal data, and any indexed content stays on the user's machine and is never uploaded to the web.

Currently, Desktop Docs only works on Mac, however Windows compatibility is planned in response to user requests. Katrina and Brian, two engineers with extensive backgrounds in product development and software engineering, created this product.
