The Infinite Drum Machine is an AI tool developed by Kyle McDonald, Manny Tan, Yotam Mann, and other Google Creative Lab team members. It lets users compose beats with sounds from the world around them, including contributions from the Philharmonia Orchestra, London.
The open-source code can be found on GitHub and is part of the A.I. Experiments project. This tool is best experienced in portrait mode using the Chrome browser, and it adheres to Google's Privacy and Terms policies.
The Infinite Drum Machine gives users access to a tambourine, snare drum, whip, and filter, as well as a collection of 6330 sounds to enable the creation of distinctive beats.
An overlay tag system is also included to help users categorize sounds.
