Machato

Machato is a macOS-specific native application designed for utilizing OpenAI's ChatGPT. It offers an intuitive interface resembling standard messaging applications, complemented by powerful features to maximize ChatGPT's potential.

Essentially, Machato grants precise control over API settings like temperature, presence, frequency penalty, top probability, and max tokens, empowering users to fine-tune the AI model's response generation.

It facilitates individual conversation handling, allowing users to establish and oversee separate conversations, each maintaining its own history and settings. Supporting all chat OpenAI models compatible with the user's API key, it broadens application possibilities.

Key capabilities also include code rendering with accurate syntax highlighting, markdown compatibility, LaTeX equation rendering, and token usage statistics for optimized resource allocation.

Machato incorporates a 'Prompt Library' for organizing user prompts and system 'personalities.' It also provides a convenient message-level copy-to-clipboard feature.
