Receipts

Receipts provides a unique way for users to leverage their iMessage data to gain insights and create personal narratives. It employs AI to understand and analyze text message history, delivering a comprehensive understanding of texting behavior.

Key features include summary statistics as well as detailed analyses of interactions with specific individuals and groups. Receipts also offers the ability to simulate interactions using AI.

Receipts is currently only available on MacOS. The application is built with user privacy as a primary concern. All data resides locally on the user's MacOS device, except for the data processed by AI features, which uses ChatGPT on the backend.

According to their policy, data sent via API calls for Receipts is not stored on their servers. Therefore, unless the AI features are in use, data is neither transmitted nor stored elsewhere.

The app's development team welcomes inquiries and concerns regarding data security and can be contacted via email. Users can maximize Receipts' functionality by syncing more contacts from their iPhone to their Mac through a few simple steps.

Saved messages from the iPhone can be added to the Mac by clicking 'Sync Now' in 'Settings'.
