AngelList Relay is an AI-driven tool designed to assist users in the management and analysis of investment documents and company updates. By simply forwarding an email, Relay can extract essential details from investment documents and unstructured investor updates.

This includes data like pay-to-play conditions, revenue figures, burn rate, and more. Users receive an AI-generated summary containing the extracted data via email, typically within five minutes. Relay also provides document management features, enabling users to access all past portfolio company updates and investment documents directly within the tool.

Documents are organized by company, year, and month, and users have the option to download them in bulk. The tool also generates a portfolio tracking dashboard, combining structured investment data, AI summaries, and historical documents sourced from emails.

This assists users in spotting trends, monitoring the performance of portfolio companies, and creating investor updates for LPs. Relay incorporates team permissioning and access controls, guaranteeing that relevant internal and external stakeholders have access to investment documents and essential insights.

The tool features multi-level team permissioning, granting varying degrees of access to different team members. The tool is also capable of parsing various terms and data from company updates, including annual revenue, monthly burn rate, cash in the bank, customer count, and more. User Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is handled in accordance with AngelList's privacy policy. Relay only receives the emails and documents that are sent to the Relay email address.

Data is stored using AWS services, with encryption applied both at rest and in transit, and adheres to SOC 2 regulations.
