ScreenML is an AI utility that streamlines screenshot capture by automatically creating relevant and descriptive file names.
It utilizes AI models like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or Claude to examine the screenshot's contents, including open applications and visible context.
Through naming based on context, ScreenML helps better organize and find screenshots, removing the need for generic, timestamped names.
The app also works with annotation workflows, offering an option to open screenshots in Preview for annotations. For convenience, it can be set to launch at login and provides Menubar access for easily finding context-aware file names, even without the folder open.
The Pro version, when released, will include more customization options and features to enhance its functionality. Note that ScreenML only uses the data it gathers to create relevant file names and does not use it for AI model training.
