Skwad

Skwad is a privacy-focused tool for managing finances, designed to help users monitor and understand their expenditures. A key benefit of Skwad is that it lets users maintain financial insight without needing to link or share their bank login information with a third-party app.

Instead, users are given a unique Skwad email address where they can forward spending notifications from their banks or credit card companies. These notifications are then quickly turned into categorized transactions.

Skwad allows users to upload past transactions for a full financial picture. In particular, Skwad notifies users of unusual transactions or changes in spending behavior, which aids in the quick detection and reduction of financial risks.

Another feature is the ability to track bills and subscriptions, with notifications for upcoming payments and changes to fees. The Skwad app enables the sharing of select transactions with a trusted group (Skwad) and provides features like a spending calendar, adding receipts to transactions, syncing to Google Sheets, and splitting transactions.

Regarding security and privacy, Skwad only accesses transaction data, without requiring or exposing sensitive banking information.
