Styledrop

StyleDrop, a Google Research AI tool, generates images in any style you specify. It is powered by Muse, a generative vision transformer that turns text into images. StyleDrop captures the fine details of a style you provide, including color schemes, shading, patterns, and both local and global effects.

The tool fine-tunes a small set of parameters—less than 1% of the model's total parameters—to achieve this. Iterative training further improves image quality, delivering excellent results even with just one style reference image. Studies show StyleDrop outperforms style tuning in text-to-image models compared to other methods like DreamBooth and Textual Inversion.

It creates high-quality images from text by adding natural language style descriptions to content descriptions during training and generation.

The tool can generate consistently styled images of alphabets and allows collaboration and training using your own brand assets. By using StyleDrop with DreamBooth, users can generate images of MY SUBJECT in MY STYLE. Image owners are credited, and links to the image assets used in the experiments are supplied.
