SwitchLight Studio by Beeble is a tool designed to transform visual effects and compositing workflows for filmmakers. By integrating artificial intelligence with physically-based rendering, users gain the ability to adjust lighting after the production phase.

The AI within SwitchLight Studio produces individual passes for videos, which include data like depth, normals, roughness, albedo, specular reflections, and ambient occlusion, to illustrate how light interacts with object surfaces.

This process accurately captures the true colors of objects without shadows or lighting through the albedo pass, in addition to 3D geometry using normal and depth maps.

The solution uses physically-based rendering to accurately mimic real-world lighting scenarios. SwitchLight Studio's AI Virtual Production tools also allow for the smooth integration of actors into different environments with lifelike lighting.

Users have access to distinct functions, including background removal, PBR material and depth extraction, physically based rendering, a PBR neural enhancer, and light map extraction.

For professionals, the software fosters limitless creativity with individual PBR passes, supports resolutions of 4K and higher, ensures consistent temporal integrity across frames, and includes a PBR loader for Blender and Unreal Engine.
